Modern Low-Rise Windsor Dining Chair

This chair borrows heavily from both the Welsh Stick Chair and Windsor Chair traditions. It is patiently and diligently handmade one at a time to enure the joints will serve the owner for a lifetime plus of enjoyment and daily use! The dimensions and proportions of this chair have been deliberately selected to improve comfort and eliminate pressure points on the back and rear during use. This model sports a half-back backrest that supports the back just below the shoulder blades and an unsaddled seat which gleans significant comfort from the gentle backward tilt which allows the hips to rest during use.
